The MRE Restoration Projects Plan describes 3 infrastructure projects that will improve both the quality of life and the value of properties at Mountain River East. These projects are not new. Decks restoration has literally been discussed for decades. A repaving project was approved by the Association in 2012 before being deferred indefinitely. The Courts have been a source of complaints for decades with each resurfacing lasting only a year or two before major cracking returns.
These 3 projects represent a significant investment in our facilities at Mountain River East. The project schedule is broken into three phases to address the most immediate needs and provide real value to the Association as early as possible in phase 1 while raising funds for phases 2 and 3 in the following years.
These projects will be funded largely through new assessments to augment funding earmarked in the MMR. Wherever possible MMR funds have been applied to reduce new assessments.
Owner support for these projects is critical to getting started and seeing these projects through to completion as each phase will be funded by a vote of the Association. Owners are encouraged to download and read the plan document to understand both the need for these projects as well as the many benefits that will result from completing them.
